And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house. And straightway many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word unto them. (Mark 2:1-2)
I have seen many moves of the Spirit over all my years in the ministry. I love them all! I love His presence. When people are taught the good news and experience the powerful move of God’s Spirit, then our buildings won’t be large enough to handle the crowds.
The above scripture from Mark is a favorite of mine. When Ed and I were searching for a church this was my guideline. I was looking for a church where Jesus was in the house. Not a program, not a show or performance, but His presence. The Holy Spirit is so precious to me. He activates the gifts within us. He leads us, teaches us, heals us, and empowers us to minister to others. He is God on the inside of us!
The world we live in today needs His presence. The world today needs to see witnesses that will proclaim His Word and walk in the love of God.
Ask Jesus to fill you today with the Holy Spirit. Surrender to His presence and allow the Holy Spirit to flow through you like never before.
