At first glance, this verse can sound like we are responsible for earning our salvation—but that’s not what Paul is saying.

I am so grateful for Paul’s words, which remind me that God’s rescue is not only a past act to admire but also an ongoing reality we can lean on.

When Jesus speaks these words to Thomas, He honors honest doubt but points us to a deeper blessing: trust without visible proof.

We think of filters as physical devices: screens that strain out impurities so machines run cleaner and longer—air filters, oil filters, spam filters.

I desire the wisdom. I need the wisdom of God every day.
