Life can feel overwhelming at times—like everything is happening at once and the noise of circumstances grows louder by the day.

Our verse today celebrates the messenger of God — not for personal glory but for the life-changing message they carry.

Life doesn’t always feel like victory. Some days feel like setbacks, disappointments, or quiet struggles no one else sees.

The question isn’t simply, “Who can be against us?” That’s an easy one to answer: disease, inflation, corruption, exhaustion, calamities, fears, etc.

At first glance, this verse can sound like we are responsible for earning our salvation—but that’s not what Paul is saying.

I am so grateful for Paul’s words, which remind me that God’s rescue is not only a past act to admire but also an ongoing reality we can lean on.
