Once we are saved we are delivered out of darkness into the glorious light. What a miracle!

A few years ago I had the life-changing privilege of visiting Israel. While there I bought a ring engraved with Song of Solomon 6:3: “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.”

There are moments in life when the battles before us seem too big, too heavy, and too overwhelming to handle on our own.

Over more than thirty years of ministry, I’ve seen one thing consistently hold people back from pursuing all God has for them: they don’t fully know who they are in Christ.

When hard times come—and they will—we often lower our expectations and settle for less than God intends.

Over the years I have noticed that there have been a lot of people I’ve known who started living in the things of God and then at some point in time, they walked away and gave up.

In a world where everything seems to shift—circumstances change, emotions fluctuate, and people can disappoint—there is one thing that remains absolutely unchanging:

One of the things that you and I as believers must learn if we want to be faithful servants in the kingdom of God is how to keep our mouths shut.

First, I want to share where I have been for the past month.

Life can feel overwhelming at times—like everything is happening at once and the noise of circumstances grows louder by the day.

Our verse today celebrates the messenger of God — not for personal glory but for the life-changing message they carry.

The above scripture tells one of my favorite stories of the New Testament.

It’s easy to focus on our weaknesses—our limitations, past mistakes, or the areas where we feel inadequate.

Life doesn’t always feel like victory. Some days feel like setbacks, disappointments, or quiet struggles no one else sees.

The question isn’t simply, “Who can be against us?” That’s an easy one to answer: disease, inflation, corruption, exhaustion, calamities, fears, etc.

At first glance, this verse can sound like we are responsible for earning our salvation—but that’s not what Paul is saying.

Life has a way of stretching us to extremes—highs that make us feel invincible and lows that leave us wondering if God is still near.

The 8th chapter of Romans is one of my favorites. This chapter reminds me who I am in Jesus.
