Be Radiant

Scripture Of The Day

“Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the LORD]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the LORD has risen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1

By Cheryl Henderson

Have you ever walked into a dark room and turned on the light? Darkness has no choice but to give way to the light!

God has called us to arise and shine, not because everything around us is perfect, but because His glory is upon us! We don't have to reflect the darkness, discouragement, or negativity of the world. We can reflect His light wherever we go.

Being radiant doesn't mean we never face difficult days. It means that even on difficult days, the presence of Jesus shines through us. Our words can bring encouragement, our actions can demonstrate love, and our faith can point others to Him.

Today, arise and shine! Don't allow your circumstances to dim the light God has placed within you. Spend time in His presence, let His Word renew your heart, and carry His light into every room you enter. Someone around you needs to see the radiance of Jesus!

Let your light shine. The world needs what you carry!
