“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!” — Isaiah 52:7, NLT

Are your feet carrying good news? Ephesians 6:15 tells us to have our feet “shod with the preparation of the Gospel of peace.”

The shoes of a Roman soldier were designed to give him firm footing, even in the midst of battle. Spiritually, God gives us that same stability through the Gospel of peace. When life pushes against us, God’s peace helps us stand our ground.

Psalm 18:33 says, “He makes my feet like the feet of a deer, and he sets me securely on the heights.” God enables us to stand firmly and keep moving forward, even through difficult and uncertain places.

We are surrounded by people who need hope, peace, and the Good News of Jesus. Everywhere we go, our feet can carry the Gospel.

The Gospel keeps us sure-footed, gives us peace, and brings life to those we encounter. Feet that carry the Gospel are beautiful!

An Atlanta Ga native, Cheryl was married for 53 years to Ed Henderson. They have three sons and 8 grandchildren, and one great gran.

In January of 2021, Ed went home to be with the Lord after a brave fight with colon cancer.

Since 1985 Ed and Cheryl have been serving the Lord as evangelists in the Tennessee area and surrounding states.
