Entrusted With His Grace

Scripture Of The Day

“And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?” — Luke 12:42

A steward is someone entrusted with managing what belongs to another. Although it is placed in his hands, he is accountable for how he uses it.

As believers, we are stewards of God’s grace. Grace is God’s undeserved favor, His goodness toward us when we could never earn it or repay it. Through Jesus, we receive His love, forgiveness, and mercy. But grace is more than unmerited favor; it is God’s divine ability working in us, empowering us to do what we cannot do in our own strength. His grace sustains us, strengthens us in our weakness, and enables us to extend His love to others.

First Peter 4:10 tells us to minister to one another as “good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”

God never intended for us to keep His grace to ourselves. When we forgive, encourage, show kindness, or extend love to someone who is hurting, we allow His grace to flow through us. We have freely received, and we are called to freely give.

Who needs to experience God’s grace through you today? Be intentional about showing someone the love, forgiveness, and kindness God has so freely given you. Be a faithful steward of His grace!
