Get The Doubt Out

Scripture Of The Day
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

I recently heard a statement that really impacted me: "You have to do your way out of doubt."
Wow! That hit me right between the eyes. I can honestly say I have experienced that firsthand over the last few years. There were times when I not only doubted, but I didn't even know how to do what was in front of me.
I know the Bible tells us to walk by faith and not by doubt. I understand that. But let's be honest—when you're standing in front of a mountain that looks impossible to move, most of us have asked, "Lord, how am I ever going to get through this?"
The good news is that God has already equipped you for the journey. The Holy Spirit—the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead—lives inside of you. God has given you everything you need for life and godliness. Think about the disciples when Jesus told them to feed over 5,000 people with only five loaves and two fish. I'm sure they had their doubts. Yet they obeyed, and God did the impossible.
When Ed went home to be with the Lord, I faced a mountain of my own. Suddenly, I was responsible for many of the things he had faithfully done for this ministry. To be honest, I didn't know how to do much of it. I'm still learning. There have been challenges, mistakes, and moments when I questioned myself. But something happened along the way. As I stepped out and did what needed to be done, the doubt began to disappear.
I've learned that confidence often comes after obedience, not before it.
So, if you're facing something today that seems bigger than you, don't let doubt stop you. You can do what God has placed before you. Even if you're uncertain. Even if you're nervous. Even if you're afraid. As Joyce Meyer often says, "Do it afraid!"
When we take a step of faith, God adds His super to our natural. And one more thing—He rarely does it the way we think He will. He does it better.
