Seen Too Much To Turn Back Now

Scripture Of The Day

"As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:20

By Cheryl Henderson

As I walk out my faith in this chaotic world, I have seen and experienced things that have changed me forever. I am absolutely convinced that the enemy wants to keep people stuck, depressed, silenced, and completely disarmed.

Maybe that is where you are right now. Do you feel like you are walking through fire? Are you drowning in doubt, feeling like you are losing much more than you are finding? Trust me—I have been there. But this is not where God wants His children to stay.

Over the years, people have asked me, “How do you know God is real? How do you know He actually loves you?” My answer is simple: I’ve just seen too much.

I have seen God heal. I have seen Him provide, transform lives, and break the chains of addiction. God’s ways are entirely higher than ours. He never operates the way I think He will—He always does it better. Even in the midst of my deepest hurts and the brokenness of this world, I have watched Him move miraculously. And even when I can't see Him, I know He is working.

It doesn't matter what circumstances look like or how my emotions shift. My conviction stands because I have seen too much. I have witnessed His kindness, His goodness, and the mercy that relentlessly follows me. I have tasted His faithfulness and His boundless patience. How can anyone say He isn’t real? I have seen too much to ever look back.
