Scripture Of The Day
I'll tell you things. . .you could never figure out on your own. (Jeremiah 33:3) TM

When hard times come—and they will—we may be tempted to lower our expectations and settle for less than God desires for us. But difficult circumstances do not limit God’s power, and they do not cancel His plans for your life. Remember God’s question in Genesis 18:14: “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” The answer is a resounding no!
If you are willing to listen, God can reveal things to you that you could never discover on your own. What an incredible promise! When God called Moses to lead Israel out of Egypt, Moses did not question God’s ability. Instead, he questioned whether God could work through him. But God reassured him: “Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say” (Exodus 4:12).
What a wonderful promise—and it is a promise that reminds us we never have to rely on our own strength. God is not made greater by our abilities, nor is He limited by our weaknesses. He is able to accomplish far more through us than we have experienced so far.
So dare to raise your expectations. Dare to lift your vision. Ask God what He wants to do in and through your life, and then respond in faith to whatever He tells you. You may feel inadequate, but God is more than enough. With Him, nothing is impossible.
