Our God Is Unstoppable

"God raised Him up, having freed Him from death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on Him." (Acts 2:24)

Peter boldly proclaimed that Jesus was crucified according to God's plan, but death could not hold Him. The grave, the stone, the guards, and all the forces of darkness were powerless against the purpose of God. Jesus rose victorious because our God is unstoppable.

There are times when circumstances seem to stand in the way of God's promises. Obstacles may appear overwhelming, and challenges may seem impossible to overcome. Yet Acts 2 reminds us that when God has determined a purpose, nothing can prevent it from coming to pass.

The same God who raised Jesus from the dead is at work in your life today. No setback, disappointment, opposition, or delay can stop His plan for you. What God has spoken, He is able to fulfill. What He has begun, He is faithful to complete.

Because our God is unstoppable, we can live with confidence, hope, and joy. Like David, we can say, "I saw the Lord always before me." When God is at the center of our lives, fear loses its grip and faith takes its place.

In January of 2021, Ed went home to be with the Lord after a brave fight with colon cancer.
