For thou, Lord, will bless the righteous: With favor will thou compass him as with a shield.  Psalm 5:12

Because we are in Christ, God does not deal with us based on our behavior or actions.

God deals with us based on the righteousness of Jesus. Jesus's righteousness is constant, irreversible, infinite, and eternal; therefore, the divine blessings on those in Christ are constant, irreversible, infinite, and everlasting. There is a commanded blessing on the righteous.

A shield is a full-body defense designed to stop an arrow or spear before it reaches even the helmet or breastplate. We are surrounded with supernatural protection on every side, and because our God is so good, He did not stop at safety alone. He gives us a full-circle shield of Favor. Within His protection are supernatural abundant blessings. On every side of us, the Lord is working things out for us because we are the righteous.

Be encouraged today with the shield of favor over your life.

An Atlanta Ga native, Cheryl was married for 53 years to Ed Henderson. They have three sons and 8 grandchildren, and one great gran.

In January of 2021, Ed went home to be with the Lord after a brave fight with colon cancer.

Since 1985 Ed and Cheryl have been serving the Lord as evangelists in the Tennessee area and surrounding states.
