I just returned from a short vacation to the beach. It was so great to just sit by the ocean and let the sound of the waves and the saltwater breeze blow in my face and bring me to a place of peace and relaxation. However, you know the enemy is always working on stealing your joy (which is your strength) and your peace. When I went to get into my car to go to the store my battery was dead!! Well, praise the Lord! I just went back to the beach and said to myself, “I won’t think about that today, I will think about that tomorrow.”
The next morning, I was walking to my car to get my insurance info and see if I had roadside assistance. On the elevator I met the sweetest couple from Alabama and as we were chatting, I mentioned about my battery. The young man said, “I can help you; I have jumper cables.” I explained that my car was parked up against a wall and the cables would have to be very long. Well, this precious couple jumped my car off and I drove to an auto parts store and bought a battery and they put it in, and I was on my way!! I got to share with the auto parts person and pray for the little couple that helped me. God is so good to take what the enemy meant for harm and turn it to the good.
Be ready, God will use you in the most unusual ways and times. He wasn’t just good to me, but He ministered to those He sent my way.
