Scripture of The Day

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. Whom resist steadfast in faith.  ( I Peter 5:7-9)

I read an article the other day that really ministered to me.  The enemy is really on the attack these days. Maybe it is because our time is short on this earth and he knows he is headed to the pit very soon.  Please know this does not scare me nor should it scare you. We are here at this time because God chose for us to be here in this moment. So what do you do to overcome the enemy’s attacks?

Here are 4 strategies that Brother Hagin suggested. I like them by the way!

1. Know that Jesus defeated Satan on the cross. Our victory has already been won. So act like it, talk like it, live like it.

2. Remember the testimonies of God’s people. Read stories in the Old and New Testaments of how God delivered His people. And listen to the testimonies of our brothers and sisters in the Lord. (If He did it for them, He will do it for you!)

3. Know what God said in His Word. We have been given authority to stop the enemy by speaking God’s Word.

4. Trust God alone. Reasonings and opinions don’t matter-only what is written in scripture. God said it, I believe it. And that settles it.

I realize that things have been very hard for most of us in this last couple of years. However, we did not hang on a cross. We have been given all things that pertain to life and godliness. God has equipped us. Get your armor on, pick up your sword, and on we go!
