Scripture of The Day strong
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)
Life is a series of events that causes us to grow in our understanding. There is so much to learn in life. From our pursuits of higher knowledge to the passions of our hearts, it is good to submit ourselves to learning from the wisdom and experience of others.
However, there will be times in our lives when the unexpected will take us off the course we had set. Though we cannot control how our lives will go, God is not surprised by any detour, and he is not upset by the inevitable hiccups. Though our plans may go off-track, His never do. This is why we must trust in the Lord with our hearts and not lean on our own understanding. He sees what we cannot, and he never stops taking care of us. Let’s be careful to not confuse our own paths with God’s plan. Remember, He is able to do immeasurably more than we could think of or imagine.
