Scripture of The Day
I would that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. (3 John 1:2)
Did you know that God wants you to prosper? Most people think that prosperity just means it’s all about money. Money is only one part of prosperity. Notice that the scripture says, “even as your soul prospers.” What does that mean?
Your soul is your mind, your will, and your emotions. To prosper in your mind means that you line up your thinking with God’s Word. Think His Word and meditate on His Word. It will change your life. You prosper in your will you and I line up the things we do and the things you want to do as we seek the Lord and get His wisdom for our lives. You prosper in your emotions by bringing them under submission to God’s Word. Do not allow any emotion to control your life. No fear or depression or anger.\or any such thing. God has answers for everything we go through.
God takes pleasure in the prosperity of his servants. (Psalm 35:27) Just remember, it is God’s will for you is to prosper in everything.
