Scripture of The Day

We have this treasure in earthen Vessels …that…the power will be of God…not…ourselves.  (2 Corinthians 4:7)  (Excerpts from Jentezen Franklin)

God has given each of us gifts and talents and He want us to use them for His purposes.  Yours may be dormant under layers of failure, fear, and low self esteem. You may be aware of your talent yet not know how to put it to work.  Maybe you have been seeking someone to help you draw out the gift that is in you.  If that is you, check this out:  ” We have this treasure in earthen vessels…that…the power will be of God and not ourselves.”  Only the one who placed those gifts and talents within you, knows where they are hidden and how to release them.

Delayed destiny is the Devil’s delight.  By not allowing God to develop your talent, you end up frustrated, living below your potential, and making poor decisions. The fact is, you have so much buried treasure within you that the enemy’s out to steal it!  That devil has the same old motives, to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10)  The only time you get robbed is if you have something worth taking, right?  Your talent might be raw and undeveloped, or buried under years of self
doubt, unconfessed sin, bad habits, regret and despair.  But God can take something that looks like nothing and create something wonderful with it.  Just think, He made the earth from nothing–so imagine what He can do when He has something to work with!  Today begin to pray, “Father, help me to recognize and release the talents You’ve placed within me, and begin using them for Your glory.”
