Scripture of The Day
Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” (Numbers 13:30)
Or Pastor recently taught a lesson on Joshua and Caleb and how when they were sent into the promised land to spy it out, they came back with a good report. The came back excited! You know what? They saw it! They saw the land as flowing with milk and honey and they brought back some of the fruit to prove to the others that the fruit of the land was good. They saw their God bigger than the giants.
Then the other spies begin to talk about how big the giants were and how they did not think they were strong enough to fight these big men. They not only did not see it, but they spread fear and doubt in the camp. Then in Numbers 13:30 the Word says,. . . Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said,” We should definitely go up and capture the land, for we can certainly do it.” So Joshua and Caleb said it. They spoke encouragement, life, and future.
Then they went up and they seized it. It was not easy and they did have to fight the giants, but their God was bigger than any obstacle they faced. Besides, God had promised the land to them and God does not break a promise.
I encourage you today the pray and seek out God’s will for your life. What is your dream? It is time to See It, Say It, and Seize It.
