A few years ago I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Israel. It was life changing! While there I bought a ring for my self. It had inscribed on it Song of Solomon 6:3 which says, “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.” I can’t tell you what comfort that scripture gives me, especially right now as I walk through the Christmas season without my beloved Ed.
Have you ever gone through a season of feeling unrecognized and unseen? Maybe you are walking out a season alone. Perhaps in a job, you felt overlooked when promotions passed you by. Maybe some of your friendships have felt one sided. Wherever you have felt misunderstood, alone, or underrepresented, know this: the Creator of every living thing calls you by name.
He knows you through and through. He sees your insecurities and your strengths and He loves every bit of you! He delights in you, and oh how He loves you! Your Redeemer lives! And He is always with you. Did you get that?….He knows your name!
