Scripture of The Day
We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised. (Hebrews 6:12)
Faith and Patience are often called the power twins. They go together like peanut butter and jelly. Hebrews tells us that when these two are in operation together they can move mountains and the promises of God are activated.
Many people think that patience is just waiting on God. Not so! Patience means consistent, constant, and never changing. It means staying the course, no matter what you see, think, or feel. Picture a bridge over a large body of water. The bridge is faith but the understructure is what holds up the bridge and that is patience.
I encourage you today to have faith in God and His Word for your life. Be patient, constant, never changing, and then watch how God will bring forth His promises in your life.
