Getting The Most Out Of Everything

Scripture Of The Day

Let God transform you…by the way you think.  Then you will know what God wants you to do.

Romans 12:2 NLT

By Cheryl Henderson

I don’t know about you, but I want everything I do to be productive. Even when reading a devotional. I don’t want just to read it, but interact with it. I encourage you to do the same. When reading a devotional or your Bible, write down your thoughts in the margin. Personalize it! Make it your own special Word for that day.

To get the most out of it, you need:

1. A point to ponder. Find a nugget of truth that you can think on and reflect on.

2. A verse to remember. This verse should bring to life what you just read. Write the verse down and carry it with you throughout the day. Getting the Word inside you is so important. God will bring to your remembrance everything you have need of.

3. A Question to consider. These questions should help you think about how to apply what you just read to your life.

4. An action to take. Information only turns into transformation when you do something. Faith without works is dead. As My Mother would say, “It is time to perform the doing of it.”

Could you give some time to read and do these 4 things?.
