All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation. (1 Peter 1:3 NLT)

Because of the cross, Jesus destroyed sin’s power over us, and He set us free from death, hell, and the grave! We are now free from fear, condemnation, and shame, and so much more. My question for you is, are you living in the freedom that Jesus paid for? Do you have great expectations for what lies ahead?

I know we live in a crazy world and we will still have trials and stuff to deal with, but just remember that God is always with you and He never changes and His promises are true and yes and amen! When you feel overwhelmed by injustice and evil, look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Know that the battle is not yours but God’s, and He is always for you. There is a better day coming, no matter what yesterday looked like. Get your expectors out and know that God has made a way for you to have great expectations!
