Seeing Yourself Strong

Scripture Of The Day

We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.” Numbers 13:33

By Cheryl Henderson,

God had already promised them the land. He had shown His power through miracles, provision, and protection. Yet when they focused on the size of their obstacles, they forgot the greatness of their God—and they began to see themselves as small, weak, and incapable.

How often do we do the same? We look at challenges, past failures, or other people’s opinions and begin to shrink in our own eyes. We say, “I’m not strong enough. I’m not good enough. I can’t do this.” But that is not how God sees you.

In Christ, you are strengthened by His Spirit, equipped for His purpose, and called to walk in confidence. Your strength is not based on your ability—it is rooted in His power working through you.

When fear whispers that you are a “grasshopper,” let faith remind you that you are a child of the Most High God. See yourself as He sees you: capable, chosen, and strong in Him
