Scripture Of The Day

"If you indeed obey the LORD your God and are careful to observe all his commandments I am giving you today, the LORD your God will elevate you above all the nations of the earth.” Deuteronomy 28:1 (New English Translation)

God’s desire is to elevate us—not so we can become better than others, but so our lives can reflect His goodness and bring glory to Him.

Elevation begins with obedience. Before God changes your position, He often challenges your posture. He is calling you to trust Him, obey His Word, and walk differently.

Maybe you’ve been asking God to elevate you while holding on to habits, attitudes, relationships, or choices that are keeping you stuck. Today is the day to let them go. Stop asking God to elevate you while refusing to obey Him.

Today, identify one area of your life where God has already told you what to do—and do it. Make the call. Apologize. Forgive. Walk away. Start again. Pray. Give. Serve. Whatever obedience requires, do not delay. Your elevation may be on the other side of the decision you keep postponing. Obey God, trust His timing, and let Him elevate you.
