Scripture Of The Day
“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”

No matter what needs we face in life, God is our provider. He provides when we have plenty and when we have little. He is always our faithful Father, and we can trust Him even when we don't know what the future holds. Instead of allowing fear and worry to overwhelm our thoughts, we can rest in the assurance of His faithfulness. Remember the promise of Philippians 4:19. One of God's names is Jehovah Jireh, which means The Lord Will Provide.
As a single woman in my seventies, I have learned to rely on God and His Word in ways I never have before. I have come to know that Jesus is the greatest companion we could ever have in this life. He is the lifter of my head, my hope, and my ever-present help in times of need. He is my steady Rock, and He knows the end from the beginning.
When we have done all that we can do, we must learn to let go and stand firm in faith, trusting God to be everything He says He is. We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we know the One who holds tomorrow.
Be at peace today. Your Heavenly Father knows what you need, and you can trust Him to provide. He is faithful, and He will not let you down.
