It’s Still Going to Be Worth It

Scripture Of The Day
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4

We all go through challenges, trials, and difficult seasons in our lives. Even ministers are not exempt. But one of the beautiful things about walking with God is that He never wastes our experiences. He uses every situation to teach us, strengthen us, and prepare us for what lies ahead. What the enemy intends for harm, God can turn around for our good.
Today, I want to encourage you with a worship song I heard years ago by Rita Springer, whom I consider one of the greatest psalmists I have ever heard.
Don’t you know that this is not all there is? God has placed us here with a purpose and a plan. He never promised that the road would be easy, but He did promise that He has overcome the world. Because of that, we can walk boldly into whatever He has called us to do.
He has gone before us and paved the way. He gives us wisdom, understanding, strength, and the power of the Holy Spirit, who is always with us. Every trial, every lesson, and every season is preparing us for the day we will spend eternity with Him.
In one of her live performances, Rita added these words: through every hurt, every rejection, every failure, and every graveyard, it is still going to be worth it! And I say, AMEN to that, Rita!
Whatever you may be walking through today, don’t lose heart. God is not finished with you. Keep trusting Him, keep moving forward, and remember that the day is coming when we will look back and know that every step of the journey was worth it.
