God Knows Your Name

Scripture Of The Day
Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are mine. (Isaiah 43:1)
By Cheryl Henderson
A few years ago, I had the life-changing privilege of visiting Israel. While there, I bought a ring engraved with Song of Solomon 6:3: “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.” That verse has brought me deep comfort—especially now, as I continue to walk through life without my beloved Ed. Jesus has become my redeemer, my provider, my healer, and my husband.
Have you ever felt unseen or unrecognized? Maybe you’re moving through a season of solitude. Perhaps a promotion slipped past you, leaving you overlooked at work, or a friendship has felt one-sided. Maybe you lost someone you loved. Wherever you have felt misunderstood, alone, or overlooked, remember this: the Creator of all things calls you by name.
He knows you completely—your insecurities and your strengths—and He loves every part of you. He delights in you. Your Redeemer lives, and He is always with you. Did you hear that? He knows your name. Take a moment, and listen.
