Transition can be uncomfortable. It often means leaving behind what is familiar and stepping into places we have never been.

Paul writes, “We have received the spirit of adoption…by which we cry out “Abba! Father” (Romans 8:15) Adoptive parents understand these words.

The term “limitation” denotes a restriction—something that holds back or reduces us. We all live with various restrictions, but we serve a God who has none.

Once we are saved we are delivered out of darkness into the glorious light. What a miracle!

A few years ago I had the life-changing privilege of visiting Israel. While there I bought a ring engraved with Song of Solomon 6:3: “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine.”

Life doesn’t always feel like victory. Some days feel like setbacks, disappointments, or quiet struggles no one else sees.

The question isn’t simply, “Who can be against us?” That’s an easy one to answer: disease, inflation, corruption, exhaustion, calamities, fears, etc.
